Ideal kit for the recovery of threads that over time have worn out, torn or even been wrong in production.
They are used to make a more robust thread: it is able to restore a thread made of soft materials such as aluminum and cast iron that wear out quickly and tear as a result of frequent screwing of the screws or due to too heavy tightening.
Its use is essential when performing self-braking threads used in situations where vibrations tend to loosen the screw. The polygonal deformation of one or more turns exerts a braking action on the screw, effective even at high temperatures.
The Mono Eliblok Proline repair kit are used in many industrial sectors, i.e. their application ranges from the automotive and aerospace industry, electronics, mechanics and plastics, machinery and equipment.
The thread reported EliBlok is used for the strengthening of the taps of which it becomes the actual coating. Particularly suitable for soft materials, the EliBlok thread offers resistance to thermal/corrosive and mechanical stress.
The application with ProLine manual laying device:
- Place the thread in the nose of the device with the drag shank facing outwards.
- Place the device in contact with the hole and in axis with it.
- Insert the thread into the hole by screwing the manoeuvring rod.
- The thread is correctly positioned when it has entered the hole completely and the last turn turns out to be about 0.25 times the pitch (or about half a turn) below the mounting surface.
The manual laying device with threaded nose allows the EliBlok thread to be installed both in applications where maximum precision is required, and in difficult areas where it is not possible to use the other hand to hold the thread.
